Supreme uPVC Pipe Price List 2026: SCH 40, SCH 80 and Fittings
6 min read
Quick answer: Supreme uPVC plumbing pipe (Aqua Gold) costs ₹227 (list ₹436) at 1/2 inch, ₹297 (list ₹572) at 3/4 inch and ₹455 (list ₹875) at 1 inch in SCH 40, and ₹280 (list ₹539), ₹383 (list ₹737) and ₹557 (list ₹1,071) in the heavier SCH 80, per pipe, before GST. A 1/2 inch SCH 40 coupler is ₹4 (list ₹8.50). Prices were checked on 3 November 2026; GST is 18 percent on top.
uPVC is the off white, inch sized pipe that carries cold water from the overhead tank to the bathrooms: the terrace loop, the downtakes, the lines to the kitchen and the toilets. Supreme sells it as Aqua Gold, made to the American standard ASTM D1785 in two wall thicknesses, SCH 40 and SCH 80. It is not for hot water. Supreme's own plumbing page puts it plainly: CPVC handles sustained heat and uPVC is the standard choice for cold lines. So the geyser line goes in CPVC, which has its own Supreme CPVC price list.
Each row below gives two prices. "Our price" is what we charge at the Viveknagar counter before GST, the same as the product page. "List price" is Supreme's printed price. The whole Supreme range, every size we carry, is on the Supreme price list, which also downloads as a PDF.
Supreme uPVC pipe prices, SCH 40 and SCH 80
| Size | SCH 40 our price | SCH 40 list | SCH 80 our price | SCH 80 list |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 inch | ₹227 | ₹436 | ₹280 | ₹539 |
| 3/4 inch | ₹297 | ₹572 | ₹383 | ₹737 |
| 1 inch | ₹455 | ₹875 | ₹557 | ₹1,071 |
| 1 1/4 inch | ₹596 | ₹1,146 | ₹776 | ₹1,492 |
| 1 1/2 inch | ₹714 | ₹1,373 | ₹952 | ₹1,830 |
| 2 inch | ₹957 | ₹1,841 | ₹1,294 | ₹2,488 |
| 2 1/2 inch | ₹1,558 | ₹2,996 | ₹1,991 | ₹3,829 |
| 3 inch | ₹2,032 | ₹3,908 | ₹2,654 | ₹5,103 |
| 4 inch | ₹2,892 | ₹5,562 | ₹4,014 | ₹7,720 |
| 6 inch | ₹5,001 | ₹9,618 | ₹7,446 | ₹14,319 |
| 8 inch | ₹7,856 | ₹15,108 | ₹11,183 | ₹21,505 |
| 10 inch | ₹10,739 | ₹20,651 | ₹17,209 | ₹33,095 |
Check the length before you compare. These prices are per pipe. Supreme's catalogue describes Aqua Gold pipe as supplied plain in 3 metre lengths, and its price lists also carry 6 metre lengths. A per pipe price means nothing against a per metre quote until you know which length it is, so ask us before you divide.
SCH 40 or SCH 80
Both schedules have the same outside diameter, so they take the same fittings. SCH 80 has the thicker wall. A 1 inch pipe is 33.40 mm outside in both; the wall is 3.38 mm in SCH 40 and 4.55 mm in SCH 80. Supreme's catalogue rates them at 23°C as follows:
| Size | SCH 40 working pressure | SCH 80 working pressure |
|---|---|---|
| 1/2 inch | 41.4 kgf/cm² | 58.6 kgf/cm² |
| 3/4 inch | 33.1 kgf/cm² | 47.6 kgf/cm² |
| 1 inch | 31.0 kgf/cm² | 43.4 kgf/cm² |
| 1 1/2 inch | 22.8 kgf/cm² | 32.4 kgf/cm² |
| 2 inch | 19.3 kgf/cm² | 27.6 kgf/cm² |
| 4 inch | 15.2 kgf/cm² | 22.1 kgf/cm² |
Those figures are far above the pressure an overhead tank produces, and they fall as the pipe gets bigger. Supreme's own guidance is that SCH 40 suits standard water distribution and plumbing, and SCH 80 is for higher pressure industrial and process lines. In a house that usually means SCH 40 for gravity lines from the tank, and SCH 80 where a pump pushes water up, on long exposed runs on the terrace, and wherever the pipe will take knocks. The price gap at 1 inch is ₹455 (list ₹875) against ₹557 (list ₹1,071) a pipe.
uPVC is inch sized to ASTM, not metric. A 1/2 inch uPVC pipe is 21.34 mm outside, which is neither a CPVC pipe nor a 20 mm IS 4985 pressure pipe. Fittings do not cross between the three. Our pipe size chart sets the sizes side by side.
Supreme uPVC fittings price list
Supreme makes Aqua Gold fittings in SCH 80 from 1/2 inch up to 10 inch, and the running fittings in SCH 40 from 1/2 to 2 inch. These are the ones on almost every house job.

Fit a union on each side of anything you may need to remove later, such as a pump, a filter or a valve.
Threaded adaptors, plastic and brass
Where uPVC meets a tap, a float valve or a GI thread, the joint is a threaded adaptor. Supreme makes them in plastic and with a brass insert.
| Adaptor | 1/2 inch | 3/4 inch | 1 inch |
|---|---|---|---|
| FTA, plastic, SCH 80 | ₹5 (list ₹9.30) | ₹6 (list ₹12.40) | ₹11 (list ₹21.80) |
| MTA, plastic, SCH 80 | ₹4 (list ₹7.40) | ₹6 (list ₹11.20) | ₹10 (list ₹19.30) |
| FTA, brass | ₹50 (list ₹95.60) | ₹71 (list ₹137) | ₹133 (list ₹255) |
| MTA, brass | ₹73 (list ₹140) | ₹99 (list ₹190) | ₹155 (list ₹299) |
| Threaded elbow, plastic | ₹8 (list ₹14.80) | ₹10 (list ₹19.30) | ₹17 (list ₹32.70) |
A plastic female thread is a common leak point, usually because a metal fitting was screwed in too hard. Brass costs several times more, but at a wall point that will carry a tap for twenty years it is the part we would not economise on.
Ball valves for uPVC lines
Supreme makes its uPVC ball valve with either a plastic ball or a brass ball. At 1 inch the plastic ball valve is ₹151 (list ₹336) and the brass ball valve is ₹280 (list ₹623). CPVC ball valves from all three brands, and these uPVC valves, are compared size by size in our ball valve price list.
Solvent cement, GST and buying
uPVC joints are made with uPVC solvent cement, not CPVC cement. Supreme's catalogue lists its uPVC Silbond cement as meeting IS 14182 and ASTM D2564. Supreme's PVC solvent cement is ₹144 (list ₹319) for 100 ml and ₹245 (list ₹544) for 250 ml.
uPVC pipe and fittings are HSN heading 3917 at 18 percent, in Schedule II of Notification 9/2025 Central Tax (Rate). A 1 inch SCH 40 pipe at ₹455 (list ₹875) is ₹536.90 on the bill.
If you are weighing uPVC against running the whole house in CPVC, read CPVC against uPVC first. For sizing the lines from the tank, see pipe size for house plumbing.
