Astral CPVC Price List Bangalore 2026: Pipe, Fittings and Solvent
Quick answer: At our Viveknagar counter, before GST, a 5 metre length of Astral CPVC pipe costs Rs 490 (SDR 13.5) or Rs 560 (SDR 11) at 1/2 inch, and Rs 705 or Rs 750 at 3/4 inch. A 1/2 inch elbow is Rs 24 and a 1/2 inch coupler Rs 19.50, while IPS Weld On solvent starts at Rs 165 for 50 ml. CPVC pipe and fittings carry 18 percent GST.
Astral is the pipe a consulting engineer specifies when the drawing says CPVC and nobody wants an argument on site. It is also the one people struggle to price, because the dealers who carry it rarely publish a rate. So here is ours.

Astral CPVC pipe, by class
Astral sells CPVC pipe in three wall thicknesses and the class decides the job, not the price. SDR 11 has the thicker wall and takes the hot line. SDR 13.5 is the cold water run. CPVC Pro in SDR 9 is the heavy one, used where pressure or temperature is genuinely high.

All rates are for the 5 metre length, which is how Astral sells it. A 1/2 inch SDR 11 pipe at Rs 560 works out near Rs 112 a metre before GST, and that is the number worth carrying in your head when a quotation lands.

Fittings, where most of the money goes
On a flat, fittings usually cost more than the pipe. Astral's socket range starts low and the fast movers are cheap enough that stocking a few spares beats a second trip.

That transition coupler is worth knowing about. Astral runs two dimension standards, CTS and IPS, and they do not join without it. If a site has mixed stock, that Rs 59.50 part is what saves the joint.

Solvent cement, and why Astral is different here
Astral does not sell a generic solvent. It sells IPS Weld On, which is the American adhesive the brand was built around, and the joint is rated on that combination rather than on the pipe alone.

The primer is the part people skip. On larger diameters it is not optional if you want the joint the warranty describes.
